The Tension Rods come in 5 different sizes depending on your window width. They are simply a telescopic sprung loaded tension rod. So you simply turn the inter rod anti-clockwise, until the rod is approximately 1 inch wider than the window. Then you simply push the rod together so that it squeezes inside the recess. The rod will then stay in position. If you have a wide window over 229cm (90in) you may wish to order some centre supports to help support the centre of the rod. These are self ahesive but also come with a self tapping screw so you can premanently fix them if you prefer.

<p>I bought these for my new April Voile nets. They are much better than my previous net rods which also worked on a tension system but of a different kind where you had to tilt the rod to lock it into position. These are easy to use and I could manage putting the curtains up on my own. You do need the center supports, supplied with the longer rods as they bow a bit in the middle. I also purchased some extra supports which could be stuck on with a pad but these did not hold. I did not really need the extra supports after all, the supplied ones were sufficient. These rods are good value for money and I would recommend them.</p>

<p>Fantastic! Why weren't these invented years ago? I couldn't believe how quick and effective these are. We once had a shower curtain that worked in a similar way but it was always falling down and was then almost impossible to get back up again. These were easy to adjust, easy to get into the window frame and seem very secure. Even better, you can adjust them slightly higher or lower to suit the length of your curtain so the hem ends exactly where you want it to. So much better than hooks and poles/elastic.</p>

So easy to fit
Great product simple but effective, don't bother with extra hooks there are 2 with the long pole.
<p>Just twist the rod to adjust to the correct length (i.e. just longer than the aperture width), thread the net curtains over the rod, then squeeze into the aperture. The internal spring then does the rest.</p>
<p>Easy to install but sag in the middle when nets added as these are largest rods. I bought the centre support hooks however these were not strong enough to support the rods even using 2 per rod as they are just stick on hooks. I will have to buy metal screw in hooks to try to support the rods.</p>
They really are easy to install. Under 10 minutes and I was done with five windows.

Ordered 3rd Aug. Arrived 15 Aug along with my nets.
These tension rods are slightly more expensive than others I have purchased in the past but WELL WORTH THE MONEY. You get what you pay for and these rods look sturdy and stay put. I would purchase more of these if ever I needed them.

Very easy to fit, and from delivery of my nets to hanging at the window took a matter of minutes!
I purchased the 59" - 79" rod, and would recommend also ordering the centre support, as there was a very slight sagging.
Curtains were up in under 2 minutes - and stay up.! Wonderful.
